Annual Parish Meeting 2022
Minutes of the Stickney Annual Parish Meeting held on Wednesday 25 May 2022 at 7.00pm in the Youth Centre, Hall Lane
1. Apologies
Apologies have been received from Mrs Edwards
Present: Four members of the public, Dist Cllr Jones, County Cllr Bowkett, Mr Johnson from Witham fourth IDB and M Bolland (Chairman of the Parish Council)
2. Minutes of the annual parish meetings held remotely on 01 April 2021
The Clerk read out the minutes, it was proposed by Mrs Sherriff and seconded by the Chairman that the minutes be signed as a true record.
3. Chairman’s annual report
The Chairman read out the annual report, a copy is attached and a copy of this will be put in the Parish Magazine.
4. Speaker: Mr Johnson of Witham Fourth IDB
Mr Johnson gave a very interesting talk about the Witham Fourth IDB, the finances and the works they carry out in and around Stickney to keep the land from flooding. There was time available for some questions, mainly asked about commenting on planning applications for the area and if there was any enforcement for access to dykes.
5. Report from County Cllr Bowkett
County Cllr Bowkett gave a report for the last year, this will be put in the Parish Magazine.
6. Report from Dist Cllrs Ashton And Jones
Cllr Ashton was not present.
Cllr Jones outlined the work and committees he is on at East Lindsey District Council
7. Any other business – open to members of the public
Issues regarding speeding traffic on the A16 were discussed.
There being no further business the meeting closed at 8.50pm
