Minutes of the meeting held on Thursday 04 April 2024 at 7.00pm in the Youth Centre, Hall Lane

 

1. To accept apologies and reason for absence

 

Apologies were received from Dist Cllr Jones

 

Present:  Cllrs Pritchard, Jones, Hopkins, Gray, Pocklington, Sherriff and Edwards (Chairman)

 

Also present:  County Cllr Bowkett and two members of the public

 

2. Receive declarations of interest in accordance with the Localism Act 2011

 

There were no declarations of interest.

 

3. Notes of the meeting held on 07 March 2024 to be approved and signed as the minutes

 

It was proposed by Cllr Sherriff and seconded by Cllr Pritchard that the notes, previously circulated, be signed as the minutes, all agreed.

5. Planning applications received

 

S/169/00113/24 - Mr Hiley - Change of use to Nature Conservation Area including replacement access, revised parking and turning and relocation of mobile home which is an amendment to that previously approved – S/169/01747/23

 

S/169/02359/23 - Mr D Biggadike - Reserved matters application relating to the erection of 6 houses and garages (outline planning permission granted on S/169/00084/22) at Hollywood, Main Road

 

6. To report any planning decisions from ELDC

 

FULL planning permission has been received for:

 

S/169/00072/24 - A R Craven Farms Ltd - Construction of vehicular access (works completed) at Viking Link vehicular access opposite Hagnaby Lock, Stickney

 

7. To receive update regarding the defibrillator at the Youth Centre

 

a. The Community Committee are liaising with the electrician to get the defibrillator installed.  The cabinet is now on the wall.

b. The Stickney Show Committee have donated £100.00 towards the cost of installing the defibrillator.

 

8. To receive play area report

 

a. The Perspex cover has not been replaced, the work will be chased up.

b. The grass has now been cut.

 

9. To receive reports for highways

 

There were no reports for LCC Highways.

 

10. Correspondence received for this meeting

 

There was no correspondence for this meeting.

 

11. Other business – matters for the next agenda

 

a. Co-option of a new Councillor

b. The Audit for the year ended 31 March 2024

c. The Waste Transfer note for the cemetery skip has been completed and returned to 707 Ltd.

d. Insurance paperwork has been checked and the value for the War Memorial will be added to the schedule.
