Annual Parish Council Meeting may 2022
A minute’s silence was held before the start of the meeting in respect of the passing of Cllr F Cooper.
MINUTES OF THE ANNUAL PARISH COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON
05 MAY 2022 AT 7.30pm IN THE EASTVILLE, MIDVILLE & NEW LEAKE VILLAGE HALL, STATION ROAD, EASTVILLE
The meeting was chaired by Cllr Edwards due to the Chairman having COVID
1. NOMINATIONS FOR CHAIRMAN
There were no nominations for Chairman, this will be put on the agenda for the June meeting when Cllr Bolland will be present.
2. NOMINATIONS FOR VICE-CHAIRMAN
Cllr Lawrence proposed that Cllr Edwards continue as Vice-Chairman, this was seconded by Cllr Sherriff, there were no other nominations. Cllr Edwards accepted the position and signed the Declaration of Acceptance of Office as required.
3. APOLOGIES
Apologies were received from Cllr Bolland
Present: Cllrs Lawrence, Pavely, Sherriff, Pritchard, and Edwards (Chairman)
4. NOMINATIONS FOR REPRESENTATIVES ON OUTSIDE BODIES
It was resolved that Mrs Spring would be asked to continue as the Parish Council Representative on the William Lovell Foundation.
5. TO REVIEW:
a. Standing Orders
There were no amendments to make.
b. Risk Assessment
The Risk Assessments were reviewed, no changes were made.
c. Play Area and Cemetery Risk Assessment
The Risk Assessments were reviewed, no changes were made.
d. Emergency Parish Plan
Amendments suggested at the April meeting have been made. The details of the key holders for both the primary and secondary schools is required.
6. ANY OTHER BUSINESS FOR REVIEW
The Financial Regulations need to be reviewed, this will be on the agenda for the June meeting.
